Natural hard water, containing dissolved calcium and other minerals, is good for healthy bodies, but not so good for water systems, equipment and pipework. Precipitated calcium forms deposits which line pipes and water-fed appliances and equipment with a rock-hard, cement like coating.
Non-chemical treatment of water has been around since the turn of the 20th century, using fixed or electro magnets. However the results are often erratic and inconsistent. The AquaDescaler does not rely on magnetism. Using modern microprocessors and signal processing techniques, the AquaDescaler produces a complex, modulating frequency waveform. There is no apparent chemical change to the water. The physical change to the shape, size and charge of the calcium nuclei and crystals so formed, causes them to have very little adhesive properties. This process results in an increase in solubility, so that existing scale is simply dissolved and removed in much the same way as nature moves calcium from the ground into a water system.
